Data Storage and Security
Data Storage:
Your personal data is stored securely on our cloud infrastructure, which is provided by Firebaseâa trusted third-party service operated by Google. Although we describe this as âour serversâ for simplicity, please note that the underlying infrastructure is managed by Firebase. The servers are located in Europe. Back-ups are encrypted and stored within the EEA. For more information on Firebase privacy policy, please see https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Security Measures:
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee 100% security.
Data Retention:
We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws. When your data is no longer needed, we undertake appropriate measures to destroy or anonymize it securely. Here are some of our data retention rules:
Account deletion:
Email not validated (7 days grace window) - hard delete after 7 days
By request (30 days grace window) - hard delete after 30 days;
Business Membership deletion:
Inactivity (no booking for 360 days and not active member) - purged on day 360;
Other personal data - retained only while needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
User-interface history: For usability reasons, the App and the Business dashboard show only the last 90 days of past interactions; older records remain stored on our secure servers for up to 12 months (for accounting, dispute-resolution and aggregated analytics) and are then deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share your information:
With trusted service providers (e.g., Firebase, payment processors) who assist us in operating our Services, and are bound by contractual or statutory confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

When required by law or to defend our legal rights.

International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers outside your country. If, for any reason, personal data must be processed outside the EEA, we will rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the recipientâs certification under the EUâUS Data Privacy Framework, ensuring the transfer complies with applicable data-protection laws and provides a level of protection essentially equivalent to that in the EU/EEA.
