Why Hourbond was built?
Hey, I'm Pedro.
I'm a surfer. I've spent a lot of time around surf schools and communities, both as an athlete and watching how they're run. I've also seen the journey of someone starting to build a yoga business from the ground up and a community around it.
And I kept seeing the same thing: passionate people drowning in admin work, managing bookings through WhatsApp, tracking members in spreadsheets and spending evenings answering messages instead of being present with their customers, their families or, you know, catching waves.
The software that exists? It's either built for organizations with big budgets, or it's so complex you need a week to figure it out.
So I built something simpler. An app that does what most communities need, something that allows you to manage bookings, members and also send announcements without making you feel like you need a degree in software.
Hourbond isn't trying to be everything. It's trying to be the tool I wish existed for the people I've watched struggle with this stuff for years.
That's it. No big mission statement. Just a tool that respects your time and your money.
